METAIRIE, La. (NOLA WEEKEND) - Thrillville, the national traveling fair event, returns for its second year at the Shrine on Airline in Metairie from March 4 to March 13.
All the sights, sounds and smells of a carnival are part of the experience. The fair features more than 30 amusement rides, entertaining shows, live music, games and fair food.

More than a dozen local bands are set to perform, including local favorites like Amanda Shaw, Rockin Dopsie and Bag of Donuts.
Other acts scheduled to perform include the Peyton Falgoust Band, Washboard Chaz Trio, Bluesman Dave & High, Christian Serpas & Ghost Town, Otra, AsheSon, Sunpie Barnes, Gene’s Music Machine, Phat Hat, Muevelo and Mofongo.

Amusement rides include nostalgic favorites like the Ferris wheel and carousel, along with adrenaline-pumping rides for thrill-seekers.

In addition to music and rides, a lineup of entertaining shows include Sea Lion Splash, Aquatic Acrobatics and Dominguez Circus.

The Thrillville Fair opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
General admission is $10 for ages 5 to 65. Armbands for rides, games and food or available for purchase. Individual ride credits will also be available for purchase on-site. Several promos for discounts are available online at the Thrillville website.
