NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Grammy-award superstar Pitbull hits the road for his “Can’t Stop Us Now Tour,” which will make a New Orleans stop at the Smoothie King Center on Oct. 6.
The rapper and entrepreneur, also known as “Mr. Worldwide,” announced his latest North American tour with more than 50 dates kicking off this July in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pitbull will also stop in other major cities, including Cincinnati, Houston, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Dancehall rapper and singer Sean Paul will also join as support for Pitbull’s New Orleans stop. The show also features openers SiriusXM Globalization DJ’S.
Miami-based rapper Pitbull is known for hit singles such as “Give Me Everything” and “International Love.” As one of the most popular mainstream rappers of the past 20 years, the multi-platinum artist is also known for his chart-topping collaborations with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Usher and Kesha.
Jamaican dancehall superstar Sean Paul is widely regarded as the genre’s most prolific artists with hit singles like “Temperature” and “Get Busy.”
Tickets go on sale for the general public at 10 a.m. on April 15 via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can also register now for early access to tickets for the artist presale at www.pitbullmusic.com/tour.
