NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Rising New Orleans rapper Rob49 is set to host his second annual “Vulture Weekend” in New Orleans on June 16 and June 17.
The weekend features a celebrity basketball game on June 16, followed by a concert headlined by the rapper on June 17.
The Vulture Island Celebrity Basketball Game kicks off the weekend at McDonogh 35 High School on June 16.
Chicago rapper G Herbo, New Orleans entrepreneur Larry Morrow, Detroit Lions safety C.J “Ceedy” Gardner-Johnson, New Orleans rapper Neno Calvin and podcast host/hip-hop personality Gillie Da King are among the participants. Doors for the celebrity basketball game open at 3 p.m.
Rob49 will headline his Vulture Island Concert at the Fillmore on June 17.

Several special guests will join the rap star on stage, including G Herbo, Boosie, Stunna 4 Vegas, No Cap, Nardo Wick, and others.
Doors for the concert open at 7 p.m. Tickets for the concert are on sale via LiveNation.com.
