NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Some of New Orleans Pride’s biggest events kick off this weekend. This vibrant festival celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and is being considered one of the fastest-growing pride celebrations in the nation.

The weekend includes several special events, including PrideFest 2023 kicking off with a block party at Phoneix Bar at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 10.

Then, the New Orleans Pride parade rolls through the Marigny and the French Quarter at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

This year, the parade features 24 floats and several walking krewes.

The parade route starts at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Royal Street.

The parade will travel down North Peters and Decatur streets before turning onto St. Phillip Street. Then, it will roll down North Rampart to St. Ann before ending on Bourbon Street.
