NEW ORLEANS (NOLA WEEKEND) - Fans will have to wait a little longer to see LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg -- as the two rappers cancel their concerts at the Smoothie King Center.
LL Cool J was scheduled to bring his “The F.O.R.C.E. Live” tour to the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Aug. 23.
The tour marked the first headline arena tour in 30 years for the hip-hop icon.
The music showcase was to feature a lineup of acts personally curated by LL Cool J as a tribute to the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The show was scheduled to feature collaborative live performances with the award-winning hip-hop band The Roots, the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rakim, Juvenile and other acts.
Over the weekend, LL Cool J posted a video on Instagram saying, “the production has to be right” and that he’s got to be 100% ready. He apologized to fans for making changes to the tour.
