NEW ORLEANS, La. (NOLA NOW) - Three Rivers Art Festival has returned to Covington with amazing art featuring 200 artists taking over several blocks.
It’s one of the largest juried art festivals in the region with renowned artist from across the United States.
The festival will have both sides of Columbia Street lined with booths showcasing paintings, ceramics, sculptures, jewelry, woodworking, plus more. The community can come out and enjoy diverse artistic expressions.
You can look forward to live demonstrations, live music, and local food. There will also be a children’s area with many activities for kids to participate in, including gem mining and decorating ballet toe shoes.
The art festival also hosts a student art competition featuring more than 400 works of art created by local youth.

The festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 9-10, located on Columbia Street from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is free.
