NEW ORLEANS, La. (NOLA NOW) - It’s time to celebrate Independence Day with the Annual Light Up the Lake Festival and fireworks show!
Light up the Lake is a free family friendly event happening Friday, July 4, on the Mandeville Lakefront. You can enjoy a day full of entertainment from 10 a.m. until 8:45 p.m.
- Picnics begin at 10 a.m.
- Mande Milkshakers parade begins at 3:00 p.m. Parade starts at Marigny and ends on Coffee Street at the stage.
- Stage events begin with a patriotic tribute of music at 4:00 p.m. with Amanda Shaw.
- The Boogie Men will perform at 6:45 p.m.
- Evening ends with a fireworks show over Lake Pontchartrain at 8:45 p.m.
There will also be free games, face painting and crafts at the Keep Mandeville Beautiful Kids Tent with a variety of food trucks and drink tents.
