NEW ORLEANS, La. (NOLA NOW) - It’s a season of firsts in New Orleans for food influencer Keith Lee. After fully embracing his first Mardi Gras, the former MMA fighter turned content creator is preparing for another major milestone, kicking off his very own event this spring.
The Familee Day Festival marks Lee’s first festival in the city, a full circle celebration of his growing love for New Orleans and the community that’s embraced him.
NOLA Now Reporter Shan Bailey, sat down one on one with Lee to talk about his upcoming Familee Day Festival and what inspired him to choose New Orleans for the inaugural event.
You can dive into a full day of excitement with live performances, carnival rides, a thrilling obstacle course, and some of the best bites in New Orleans at the festival, according to Lee.
The festival will be located at the UNO Lakefront Festival Grounds on Saturday, May 16. The event will also be open to all ages.
