Shelby’s Shortcut: Fruit Cobbler Shelby Latino makes an easy to prepare fruit cobbler in the Rouses kitchen.

NEW ORLEANS, La. (NOLA NOW) - Shelby Latino makes an easy to prepare fruit cobbler.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh, Canned, or Frozen Fruit of Your Choice
  • Box Cake Mix (White or Yellow)
  • 2 Sticks of Butter, Melted
  •  Vanilla Ice Cream, Optional

Directions

This is the most flexible and easy recipe! Fill a baking dish of your choosing 1/2 to 2/3 full of fruit. Cover with cake mix & do not stir. Pour butter over the top of the cake mix as evenly as possible, and again, do not stir. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to an hour. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
