NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Aviation enthusiasts and families alike are in for a treat as the New Orleans Air Show returns to Belle Chasse Naval Air Station. The event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24, promises an exhilarating display of aircraft prowess.
Hosted at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, located on Hwy. 23 in Belle Chasse, the festivities kick off each day at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Gates will open at 8 a.m.
Featuring Dazzling Performances and Attractions
A highlight of the spectacle is the awe-inspiring performance by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Super Hornets, renowned for their precision flying prowess.
Joining them are a plethora of performers, including the Misty Blues Jump Team, Louisiana State Police, Viper F-16 Demo Team, T-6 Texan, Laang 159th, B-25 Devil Dog, and Aarron Deliu Extra 330SC.

Entertainment Beyond the Skies
Beyond the aerial acrobatics, attendees can explore an array of activities and attractions, including aircraft displays, virtual games, vendor booths offering food and souvenirs, and a dedicated kids’ zone.
Important Information for Attendees
For those planning to attend, organizers advise bringing along photo ID for attendees over 18. Additionally, hearing protection, especially for children, is encouraged. Folding chairs, wagons, and strollers are permitted.
Certain items are not allowed within the premises, including drones, weapons, pets, tents, smoking or vaping in designated areas, and coolers. Outside food and drink are also prohibited.
